Speaker Biography

Professor Wang Yanjun holds a PhD in Economics. He is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Population, Resources and Environment, Northeast Asian Studies College, Jilin University, and Deputy Director of the Center for Country and Regional Studies at Jilin University. His main research interests include population aging, human capital and employment, as well as population issues and social development in East Asia. He has conducted visiting research at research institutions and universities in Japan, including the Tottori Research Institute and Kwansei Gakuin University.
