About the Speaker:

Cui Jian is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and Vice Dean of the College of Northeast Asian Studies and Institute of Northeast Asian Studies, Jilin University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics. He also serves as Vice President of the National Association of Japanese Economy Studies and a council member of the Chinese Association for Japanese Studies.

Professor Cui has long been engaged in teaching and research on the Japanese economy. His main research interests include Japanese economic policy and economic security strategy. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals including Management World, Japanese Studies, and China Higher Education Research, and has authored three monographs. He has led two projects funded by the National Social Science Fund of China, as well as more than 20 other research projects at various levels.
